Print Unit closing 30 June
The Print Unit is closing on Monday 30 June. Please be aware that from Friday 13 June you will only be able to submit new orders if they can be completed before the service closes.
The University has procured a new, external print service called Print Marketplace that can be used by anyone with a Sussex email address. Print Marketplace is a UK-wide digital platform developed by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) to enable public-sector organisations to purchase print from pre-approved suppliers at competitive prices.
For more information about how to use Print Marketplace and set up your account, please refer to guidance on the University website.
Assisted copying and printing
Only need to print out a handful of pages?
Of course, we are happy to assist you with this - but please be aware that there is a minimum charge of £3.00 for assisted copying and printing, because we need to cover the cost of the staff time involved.
If you only need to make one or two copies or print off a couple of pages, we recommend you make use of self-service multifunctional printers on the ground floor of the Library and in IT Services cluster rooms.
There are no self-service photocopying facilities in the Print Unit.
How to pay for printing
We can currently accept payment by credit or debit card only.
Please note that printing work which is not being paid for by the University (i.e. by purchase order) must be paid for on placement of order, unless by prior agreement, and that there is a minimum charge of £3.00 per transaction.
We cannot charge print work to your student account or to your ITS printing account.
