Tell us what you think! CEDARS survey open 28 April-30 May
We want to hear about your experiences as a researcher or manager of researchers at Sussex.
The Culture, Employment and Development in Academic Research Survey (CEDARS) is a national measure of research culture, and is instrumental to our ongoing efforts to foster an environment in which our ECRs thrive.
See the CEDARS page for details. As a thank you for completing, we're offering the chance to win one of three £150 cash prizes!
At Sussex, ECR is defined as staff on a research-only contract at grades 6-8. This broadly encompasses research assistants, postdoctoral researchers, research fellows and senior research fellows.
Here at the Sussex Researcher School, we are dedicated to supporting the professional development of our ECRs. Our Researcher Development team provides training and development opportunities and advocates for improved career support and employment conditions for ECRs across the University, throughout their time at Sussex.
