Online
Speaker: TBC
Part of the series: Summer of Research
The maxim ‘As open as possible, as closed as necessary’, in reference to scholarship, summarises the intersection of intellectual property rights and open research practices. For this event, the library is hosting a moderated, roundtable discussion to look at different facets of these ideologies, the existing tensions between them, and to explore potential areas of compatibility.
This online roundtable discussion will present various perspectives on provocations relating to the relationship between intellectual property and open research.
