We are delighted to invite you back to the 麻豆传媒社区入口 for a special reunion celebrating the 1980s. Join us on Saturday 28 June at 11am on campus for a day full of nostalgia, insightful discussions and reconnection.
Thank you to everyone who responded to our survey telling us what you'd like from a campus reunion. Here are the event highlights:
Welcome: Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sasha Roseneil will open the event over coffee.
Panel talk: Alumni guest speakers will reflect on key moments of the 1980s, covering topics from fashion and music to sustainability, scientific breakthroughs and political engagement. We invite you to share your experiences too.
Campus tour: Led by our current students, see how the campus has evolved over the years, exploring both familiar spots and exciting new developments.
Lunch: Enjoy a delicious barbecue with a variety of options for all. Social time: Reminisce with friends, old and new in Falmer Bar.
Our day programme will end at 4pm but you are welcome to stay longer to continue the reunion fun.
Ticket information
Early Bird Price: £30 (for tickets purchased before 14 April).
Standard Price: £40 (for tickets purchased after 14 April).
Who will be there?
Upon booking you will be given the option to consent to be added to the list of attendees to be shared with other alumni.
Overnight accommodation
For the first time, we are offering the chance to stay overnight (Friday 27 and / or Sat 28 June) in the new East Slope redevelopment for just £72.60 per person, per night. This includes a single ensuite room with use of a communal lounge area, tea and coffee making facilities, towel, toiletries and a complimentary breakfast.

Share your memories in the 1980s Alumni Reunion Book!
We’ve teamed up with our student Yearbook providers to offer a Reunion Book for 1980s Sussex alumni. You can share your ‘now and then’ photos, memories and messages to lost friends and, as our gift to you, we’ll offer all alumni registering for the book, a free digital copy!

1980s Alumni Reunion Book FAQs
I can’t attend the 1980s reunion, can I still take part in the Reunion Book?
Yes – if you graduated from Sussex between 1980 and 1989 you are welcome to take part in the Reunion Book and leave your contact details for fellow alumni to get in touch.
I’m coming to the 1980s reunion, will there be a chance to add more photos and memories on the day?
Yes, the Reunion Book webpage will still be open for uploading photos and memories on 28 June. There will also be a roving photographer to take group pictures of attendees on the day.
Who is producing the Reunion Book?
Our official Yearbook providers are GradFinale. We work with them each year to produce an annual ‘Class of’ Yearbook for our newest graduates.
Who do I contact with queries about registering and uploading my photos and memories?
Our friends at GradFinale will be able to help you. Please email them at admin@gradfinale.co.uk
How will I receive my Reunion Book?
All 1980s alumni who register with the Reunion Book will receive a free digital PDF version as a gift from the Development and Alumni Relations team to you.
Printed Reunion Books are also available to order for £30 (softcover) and £38 (hardcover) from GradFinale. Details are on the registration page.
Do I have to fill in all the profile questions?
No, just fill in as much or as little as you like.
Should my profile photo be of me now?
Please upload a current photo of yourself for your main profile image and in the extra photos section, please upload a photo of yourself from the 1980's. Both photos will appear on your profile page.
