2991How to restore an archived Panopto video
Our Panopto recording retention policy is set to archive recordings which were created 12 months ago and have not been viewed for 6 months.
What does this mean?
- If anyone watched a video last week which was created several years ago, its 6 month counter will start again.
- If a recording was made 11 months ago, and nobody has watched it since, it will be archived next month.
How to Restore from Archive:
- All recordings which are archived can easily be restored, but it will take approximately 48 hours before you can watch them again.
- See for details on how to gain access to your content again.
How to prevent a recording from being archived:
- Watch the recording.
